This weeks Superpeople are @thecrumbsproject who offer catering and employability skills training for people with mental health conditions and learning difficulties. In response to the COVID crisis Crumbs have been providing free meals to vulnerable people in the community, making cupcakes for the NHS and other keyworkers and engaging their trainees with online learning. This week we are shouting out the superpeople from @dextersportsyfc, a league winning football team for disabled people, people with learning difficulties and people with mental health conditions. Whilst football has been on pause because of lockdown the team have been looking to the future, aiming to gain sponsorship, find new players and enjoy more great social experiences together. They support adults and children with profound disabilities and learning difficulties. Throughout lockdown, they have worked tirelessly and creatively to continue to have a positive impact on the people they support and their families.
